I've almost convinced myself to quit preg checking and sell cows based on calving date. It doesn't cost nearly as much to feed through winter though.
Jim will come along and say blood test the ones called open, and he is exactly right. I got tired of selling my open cows and seeing them 3m bred in the sale ring.
