I don't necessarily want to be in the position of defending all the ag payments.............because I'm a little sour on them myself. But if you want the cream to rise to the top..............you might find out that the cream is Buffet or Gates and not some piddly 40k acre current farmer.
I think that is the premise behind govt payments and injecting money into the rural economy.
