| Was it on the Wagoner ranch? My college roommate worked for that ranch the summer before college and grew up in Vernon. Lots of stories about the ranch and Waggoner. stories that were told he burned out some homesteaders. Had those ponds all over the ranch one story he had a flat going to one to hunt. called for help. got tired of waiting. got on radio and said if somebody wasn't there in 5 minutes lots of people were gonna get fired immediately 2 helicopters and several vehicles were headed for him. funny story. | |
