Sanilac Co. Michigan | I'm guessing this is related to no till dry beans.
Full disclosure: it's off label, so proceed at your own risk.
That said, I've used it on my own beans in a burn down type scenario, along with glyphosate prior to no tilling black turtle beans. 8 oz of lv6 pretty early, like 3 or 4 weeks or more (emphasis on "or more") prior to planting, killed the target weed (marestail) and didn't seem to bother the bean seedlings. Screw up and it's all on you. Same goes for things like liberty and sharpen.
The only solution to killing problematic weeds that's not off label might be a dose of gramoxone to burn off the growing point on those little weeds. The rest of my program is pretty basic: dual and maybe prowl pre, followed by combinations of reflex, raptor, basagran and clethodim in crop.
Weed control in edibles, whether no till or conventional, chemical or mechanical (outside of a lot of stoop labor carrying hoes and pulling weeds), brings with it no guarantees of clean fields. I miss the time when glyphosate killed everything that grows!
