NE Nebraska | Care to give your equipment costs Bengal stripes? Not that I have traded but it was gonna cost me $35/acre to trade my s670 and $10/acre to trade my draper. That's $45/acre just depreciation on the combine and head. That's no fuel, repairs, wage for the person running it (I know we all work for free right but, we still need to run the tractor and grain cart and alas I cannot do both at the same time), pull the head to the field with a pickup and header trailer. Has anyone checked into trading pickups lately? Planting I just figure $25/acre for tractor and planter. I would be glad to hear others costs, or dealers that are willing to trade for less. | |
