Yes but Congress passed it. Now Pelosi says another trillion isn't enough we need 3 trillion. A lot of that is to bail out democratic run states and cities they have screwed up.


And the senate? Who leads the senate? Got to pass both houses of Congress and get signed by President to become law. One party has 2/3 control of that equation


A bill can be passed with 50 votes plus the votes, with vp breaking a tie. Remember I said it does not require 60 votes.

I think you need to go back to civics class. 51 votes are only required if there is no call for additional debate or no filibuster. It requires 60 votes to override those things. (This is a basic explanation)
