| Definitely make it wider than the chute. If it’s inside I don’t know if standing on concrete is a must. Research what weigh bars you would like to use and plan accordingly, lowering it is also a good idea. Did ours a few years ago, and it’s barely wide enough for the weigh bars. Also had to go with a certain style of bars or height was going to be an issue. Wish I would have planned better, it works and I’m glad I have it.
Also we change the cal settings in our scale head and use the same one as the grain cart. | |
