As strong as basis and especially early delivery basis is in our area I don't think You would be wrong to market some. If You are worried about the sale buy some calls 20 to 30 cents out of the money and sit and watch. That is what I did 20 to 30 cents ago. It is 2020 and with all the craziness so far anything could happen.

I think the crop in eastern Kansas is better than last year. The irrigated in the west that was taken care of will be huge. This rain event will get a lot of wheat planted and finish the corn to perfection. It won't be long before the empty elevators will figure out if they don't get full on corn they may have a monster wheat crop to store in 8 months.
