NW Missouri | I have a Ranger 1000 crew cab. Before that I had a regular cab 900. I have 3 small kids, and it is nice to be able to get me and the wife and all the kids in it - whether we are going to work somewhere or just to take a ride, which the kids love to do. The backseat is also nice when the dog is wet and wants to ride along. And I do stuff electric fence posts or other crap in the backseat occasionally when I'm working alone, which is kind of handy.
With that said, a single cab is much more nimble. It's more like a 4-wheeler, whereas the crew cab is more like a small pickup. If you routinely need to chase livestock, and you want to use your UTV for that, I don't think you would want a crew cab. | |
