“These are the times that try men's souls.”
I don't think there is a best side by side out there. They all have problems, in fact I just came across a fellow driving a brand new Honda the other day, cooling system puked on him up checking on his pasture. I came along in my 900 XPS Polaris with a 60 gallon sprayer and engine. Gave him a tug home, his machine had less than 30 miles on it. Only reason I bought a Polaris last year was because the dealer traded me out of a couple of Honda 4 wheelers from hell. I was smiling just to be rid of those bikes! I wanted a Can Am side by side, but they wouldn't touch those Honda bikes on trade.

Just need to drive them all and see what fits your pocketbook and you butt as far as seats go. They will all get you farther than you can walk back home in less than in 10 minutes. Just like a snowmobile, it's a long walk home when they all break down. Main thing is your dealer support, I would buy from the best service around. Right now if I was to rate the best from worst it would be.

Best = Can Am
Middle = all others
Worst= Artic Cat

At least from what I see around here.
