“These are the times that try men's souls.” | I agree 100% if you can't keep records on paper it will never work on a computer. I had to smile when computer software allowed for spread sheets and cattle records a ranch manager's wife bragged up she had all their corporate ranches cattle on the computer in a meeting. A old rancher standing their replied, that's nice all my cows are in the pasture!
I agree also on the magnets, it was a pet peeve of mine as well! I never had a hired man ever clean one, always had to remind them. Also all the crap I ever found on one came in bought feed from town. Chunks of pallets, trap metal, etc. you name it as it came in on commodity trucks. |
