Individual states closed down as needed because leadership from the administration was completely lacking.
So you want the feds dictating what all 50 states should do? That's not the way this country was set up.
Actually the federal government is set up to regulate and oversee some things. The reason our response to the pandemic has been the worst in the world is precisely because we have one political party that doesn’t believe in science or education and their guy is squatting in the White House.
