Obviously our areas are a LONG ways apart. Around here that is only done on irrigation. But it works great if you get plenty of early Nitrogen on. That wheat has to tiller and root down good before going into winter. Tillage works too...........but doing all the field work timely becomes an issue. I'd rather no till with a good single disk drill and get some fertilizer on to get that wheat growing quickly.
