NE Ohio | Planted about 1/3 of the beans, all of the corn, then the rest of the beans. Will see if there's a difference when I harvest. Right now, earlier planted beans look better.
Around here, seems like the beans can handle the wetter conditions we experience in the spring better while the corn needs to ground to be dried out, which lately has been mid to end of May.
About ready to switch to shorter season corn to avoid fighting with the mud in the spring and just plan on planting corn on Memorial day. | |
