| The virus hit EU before the US.
About the same percentage of Europeans went through this before it subsided. The charts indicate the same will happen here in the next month or so. New York and New Jersey were the first major “hit”. Everyone applauded Florida’s efforts for a while until it hit there. Now their case numbers are dropping fast. Same story in Texas.
Looks like to me you can shut the country down and really slow the numbers of cases. But, you will kill the economy in the meantime and if there is no vaccine it will still have to come through. You just bought more time but lost the economy health of the country in the process.
Brazil was hit after the US and they will come out of the spike after the US according to the charts as well.
Even in those states that have gone through it, there remains a small number of cases that keep popping up, but that appears to be much easier to deal with. | |
