I would use a Loftness Stalk Chopper with windrow attachment. I would not rake it as you will get some dirt. Neighbor had a guy come in and windrow with one and it did a reasonable job, ground it up into 6" or less pieces. He picked his up with with a green chopper and when it got too dry a round baler.
