Never plant the wrong way.Always base down.A couple moronic farm workers pushed some in this and that,definitely a yield drop and slower to emerge.We only plant an acre a year for retail,takes a bit to build customers but usually sell out.Choose a type wisely. Never plant too early.Never plant same place 2 times,never plant where onions were grown,,,easy other than the weeds,,disease...heehe
