| I remodeled an old shed into our nursery. We use calf-tel pens with the air max back. It has taken me a couple years to figure out curtain settings and air movement for the winter months, this last year I didn't treat a single calf for pneumonia and only a few for scours. Pens are removed and washed between each calf. I cut the concrete out underneath the pens, dug out the sand, laid down septic pvc pipe and back filled with 1" rock. It help keeps the pens a lot drier. Some don't like this kind of setup, but it depends a lot on your management style and who his working.
