Subject: RE: Corn ear tip back causes

Turkey
Thanks for the informations. I did soil test before low N , low P, low organic matter, K is average, ph:7,85 clay loam redish craking type soil, with high lime content
As u said early snd md term i may gave over irriagtion. Accoridng to mu researches corn development is very important 4-8 leaves term so that term i did not want to make any water stress also i started to give nutrients starting 4 leaves term till 10 days later after tasseling.
For leave test not any labs around me so i just try to gave every basic nuitrents. Only i am thinking if i give extra potassium that cover tips ? Or this extra kernals from tips can cover extra potassium cost ? I dont know. Pioneer engineers told me in the region almost all fields have tip back problem but i can not say due to population or water stress or something else. I should add sulpher and boron for fertilzer program i guess.
