A few years back we were traveling to visit friends in Seattle. Hit a early season snowstorm in Cheyenne. Closed down the interstate for three days. We were lucky. Got into a hotel before they were full (think we got the last room because of a cancellation). So we had a nice room with pool and hot tub. But hundreds of trucks and cars had to fend for themselves sleeping in their vehicles. Vehicles parked and running everywhere backed up the streets and parking lots. Was glad we were in the car and not on the motorcycle. Even when we left the roads were still treacherous and we saw semi's slid off the road and turned over. Glad we had AWD. John
