Check your exhaust system must have a frozen block off valve or a plugged exhaust mad muffler on one side causing the exhaust to all flow thru the crossover even when warm. Standard oval port is all I have ever used. Peanut port gasket is too small. Be sure to use tall deck end strips for the manifold. Fel pro used to have intake gaskets with the exhaust cross over blocked off. I believe they were for racing and fit the oval port heads and intake manifold for passenger car deck height manifold. Must get longer end strips for tall deck engine. Most gasket sets include both length of strips for the end seals. Make sure both exhausts are open or your new gaskets will not hold.
