Gruver Tx
What were the single row and double row populations in relation to what you plant in drilled wheat. I usually plant around 100-120lbs of seed on late drilled wheat after corn. I put the same amount of wheat in twin rows which might have been too high last year. Thinking of planting a relay field East west this year to get more light to relay crop in twin 30 wheat. I was wanting to try a single row wheat with planter and also quad rows of wheat on 60” spacing like Jason Mauck which gives the summer crop rows an open side to get water from.
I have 24 row 30 planter which would speed up fall seeding if it would work. Drills are 30 ft and 40 ft.

I grew grain sorghum as a relay crop this past year because it was cheap for an experiment. My goal is to grow cotton in a relay crop situation but didn’t want to spend that kind of money on seed the first year I tried it.
