Once the milk line was three fourths or more down, I would do an ear count, then pull every eighth ear. Did this in two or three spots. Hand shell the corn and WEIGH the shelled corn. Population times the average ear weight (in pounds) Divided by 56, and then do your moisture shrink. Way more accurate that kernel counts.

I guess I don’t see the need for a kernel count. Sorry.
