Subject: RE: Enlist and llgt27 beans liberty link bean

Jefferson, SD
I was 50% llgt27 last year. I think there is something to the group 27 tolerance. My llgt27 fields combined were my highest average yielding beans last year and actually ever. Glyphosate & Liberty worked better than expected together in the first post pass. I came back with a second shot of Liberty and had nearly weed free fields. I had a group 15 in with the first post pass and we got plenty of rain to activate.

I'm 100% Enlist this year as I got seed beans for all but 1 field and didn't want to complicate the sprayer cleanout. I couldn't get llgt27 seed beans or I would have gone with everything that way. Haven't harvested yet but they look good. Liberty & Enlist sprayed together is very good. It worked about as good as glyphosate did before the resistance. I had a group 15 in the mix but we haven't received enough rain to activate it yet I don't think. I went back on a few fields with straight Liberty to get new weeds. Everything is very clean. I did some testing next to non-Enlist beans and some veges and saw no movement at all.
