I split plant most of my fields. Generally hybrids are within 4bu of each other according to the yield monitor. Is it better to be 1/2 right and 1/2 wrong (split planted) all the time OR hit home runs/bust every time with a single hybrid in the field? Suppose it depends on the year, that’s why hind sight is 20/20.
Does it help to split planter with diff hybrids?
