SW Wisconsin | yes it will be around now every year going forward from my experience. First saw it in 2017 here in SW WI but wasnt much at all. 2018 it was terrible on our farm and all of our corn was completely dead by sept 10th that year. Anywhere from a 50-80 bushel yield loss depending on hybrid, we did not spray fungicide in 2018 but have sprayed the last two years and feel its well worth it. Neighbors who didnt spray this year and their corn is full of tar spot, while its just showing up on ours. Far enough along to not do any damage. | |
