Subject: Zidua and Valor in the Fall

NC South Dakota
This year spring pre's just didn't work very good here with drought conditions, unless it was put on very early.
I know my zidua only got .80 of rain before the second pass where I layered more zidua and it sat on top for 3 weeks.
My conventional beans arn't off label extend clean but I am very very happy.
Guess I became a believer in layered pre's this year.

Anyway Used Generic dual on the corn and did my scortched earth program before emergence, and I had to Post spray all my corn.
I just don't have time to get pre's down for both corn and bean in the spring. And couldn't buy a rain this spring to get them activated.

How well does zidua work in the fall? Its expensive, but it it saves precious time in the spring.......
Do I need to worry about them running out of gas in the spring?
Salesman says they will save me a pass in the spring and are well worth it...
Whats the cheapest way to buy zidua + valor ?
FBN has Fierce for just over $80 a #..... kinda spendy..... Haven't priced the stuff locally.

Any alternatives? Thoughts?
Thanks
