Chances are if the hog owner goes broke, a bigger company will swoop in and buy them for pennies on the dollar and gladly retain the contracts and spaces and pig flows that were previously in place. I know of a site locally that was built for Farmland pigs, who got bought out by Murphy's, who got bought out by Smithfield. Never was even a hitch in contract payments through it all.
