Northern Nebraska | I haven't had rain since June. It's not great everywhere I agree.
I guess my point was even with what you said about less prominent areas can bring up the average. That is true. Those years Iowa also happened to have a good crop. I don't see how the country can have better yields when the state with the most acres is the driest it's ever been.
Maybe I'm blind but 99% of Iowa being dry should have grain traders at least mildly concerned.
