northwest Missouri | Last couple years I have been grazing 5wt steers on harvested corn fields. Most fields have some grass waterways. I have been feeding 1% of body weight 1/3,1/3,1/3 DDG Corn gluten feed pellets and cracked corn. I have thought about going to straight gluten feed pellets to save money as I could take a full semi load from plant. Will I give up some gain doing this? I could easily add some corn as I fill my overhead bin if I wanted. Any other suggestions are appreciated | |
