I understand a ten bushel yield swing making a pass through the field but once you make a couple of rounds and have an average it would have to be a highly variable farm to have that average change by ten bushels when finished with the field. I guess it happens but on fields like that I would think it would be hard to have a good average field yield when finished. I always marvel at how long it takes the field average to creep up when you know you are running in really good beans but it sure seems like that average drops much faster when you hit a bad spot! I have been known to put my hat over the yield monitor when running in poor beans!
