Southern MN | Tried find some articles from 1974. Sounds like multiple mornings in the 20’s in early sept for MN. According to the charts I could find didn’t look like prices really took off until later in the month? Was this because of widespread frost later in other states or it took that long to understand how much damage was done? Could not find a chart with daily close so kind of guessing when beans started to really go up. Am guessing that early of a frost did a lot more damage in 1974 than it would do today. | |
