Irvington, IL | I just started farming a field like that this year. It was sprayed with burn down in early 2019 and there was so much residue left on top it never even got close to drying out enough to plant last year. I ended up running a disk across it this spring a few times and letting it lay about a month and then hitting it with a field cultivator and planting soybeans. It wasn't the prettiest seed bed of all time but the beans look good so far. | |
