NW IA | I took this picture from the top of a steer stuffer when I was feeding critters yesterday.
I was surprised at how green this was over the top so I took a couple of pictures inside the field a ways.
We have been blessed to have caught a couple of extra tenths in timely rain events all summer. But I am pretty sure this is the best looking stuff I have.

The field is one I play with a bit. Lots of bedded pack manure. History- 4 years alfalfa-corn-corn-beans-corn. 32.5 K pop
OM 5-5.3 on 4 of six grids with 2 on the East side 4.8 and 4.9
160 units of N as urea. No commercial P and K for 35? years.
Edit- Should have mentioned this has been no-till since the alfalfa was seeded. But it is a cheating form of no-till. I removed the stalks after corn as round bales for bedding and they only come back out there as manure prior to beans. No-till COC with the stalks removed isn't exactly fair. No-till beans into heavy manure from a traditional box and beater spreader has gone well for me.
