| We have multiple areas where we farm the full section and there is irrigation. As others have stated, having multiple pivots is slightly bigger hassle factor, but more effective for us. Can tie in your underground pipe if desired so you could hypothetically send water from any pump to any pivot if something was to happen to one of the pumps. Works better if you plan on growing different crops on the same section - can put water on the certain crops at the most ideal times that way. Will be more expensive upfront, but long term it'll probably be worth it. | |
