I am not knocking the Tesla itself or Elon. I remember my Dad telling how Tesla was a house of cards 7-8 yrs ago. I have read and watched engineers say how he makes his big presentations just reintroducing old technology and acting like it is a big deal. I have heard people from the major car manufacturers explain how he will never be able to scale production fast enough to survive. Bottom line is he continues to survive, and his stock obviously puts a lot of faith in his ability to continue to thrive. And from what I understand he puts out a very good product. Sounds like he has a lot of neat features that people love. People that are not car people and car lovers alike rave about their Tesla’s. This is definitely a case where time will tell.
It is just a little frustrating watching people plug in their cars for free at a Tesla charging station that I believe was paid for by the taxpayers while I am paying 57 cents per gallon in road tax. I know ethanol was and is subsidized also but it still grates me.
