Subject: RE: Water wells

South Texas
How sure are you on it being screened in those locations? I thought screening in 2 water tables was something you do not do.

When the oil junk started here, there were instances of nearby wells going dry. In many cases the oil companies paid for the nearby wells to be jetted or made deeper. Keep in mind that was a very dry time so those wells may have dried up anyway. These were mainly 100-200’ deep wells. Those earlier shallow oilfield wells have mostly been abandoned, given over to the land owner and new ones are 600-1500’.
