The pyramid shed water better than all laying flat on the ground.It let air go through if the bales did get wet, it got the baler twine up off the ground so the mice were kinder to the baler twines if you didnt get the bales picked up and hauled right away.You could stop and load 6 bales at one time on a wagon at one stop rather than stop for each bale individually in the field. |
