Subject: Irrigation pipe used for manure slurry?

Hi guys, long time reader first time poster. I'm looking at buying some 6 inch aluminum irrigation pipe that was used for manure slurry on a dairy farm. I want to use the pipe to fill up some of the watering holes for my livestock to drink from. I have not looked at the pipes yet, but are there any concerns that I should take into account about the pipes being contaminated or corroded internally/externally from the manure, or would I be ok if I just flushed the pipes out with the pump for a couple of minutes before pumping into the water holes? Thanks guys
