n.c.iowa | Plant where I worked had maybe one crack that I remember in 20,000sq.ft .
the presses and such sat on their own concrete pads, except for one 250 ton mechanical press. It sat on some kinda load distribution pads.
we've gotta a 32’,8 ring grain bin that was poured in the mid eighties, nary a crack in it. The guy doing the concrete forming forgot to put fill in the middle of the bin pad.
it’s at least 2’ thick all the way across. |
