SC Wisconsin
Luckily when my well pump went bad it was just the foot valve so it was short cycling nonstop and was only down for the time it took them to pull the old pump and drop a new one in. Even in that short time frame it felt like you were on trial to for life in prison and the jury was out. After i finish my small addition next year, ill be adding another well that ties into my current well system before I add any more cattle. Even with a couple hundred head running around, if you are without water for even half a day in the summer heat, the pounds not gained or lost due to the stress by those animals would put a big down payment on that new well. Just my opinion.
