Subject: RE: Old seeding machine.

Western Oregon
My first grain drill was an IHC horse drawn 6' hoe drill with a tractor hitch, no disk openers, steel wheels, wood box. Much of it looked like a field cultivator with a seed box. I plowed the 60 acres with a Farmall B and 1-16" pull plow. When it came time to seed the wheat I didn't have money for gas for the tractor so I put the horse tongue on the drill and seeded it with my little pair of 1/2 Appalossa 1/2 Belgian team. I was 13 yrs old. I will be 65 in March....James
