Wisconsin
I'd say there's still a lot of them in use, maybe not so many wooden ones.

Van Brunt in Horicon Wisconsin was one of the early leaders in grain drills, I believe the seed metering gear was their big innovation. they were bought by JD in 1911 and were labeled JD Van Brunt for years until they dropped the Van Brunt. Now that plant produces lawn equipment and gators.

That would be an odd one in the US because of the dolly wheels, the hoe openers instead of disks, and steel wheels with wood box. I've never seen one with hoe openers unless it was like 4-6 row one horse unit. That could be regional too, I'd bet they're common somewhere in North America. They started as wood wheels and boxes, moved to steel wheels and boxes, and then rubber tires and chain driven axles (end wheel drills) before evolving into more modern grain drills.

They'll usually have two boxes, grain and either fertilizer or a grass seed box, less common only grain or all three boxes.
