ne ne mo | If it is wet, alfalfa won't do well. Brome is an excellent grass hay in this part of the country that will yield well and is somewhat forgiving on when you cut it. Reeds can make a lot of tonnage and good hay if you mow it every four weeks, but it has to be dry enough ground to get that first cutting off in a timely manner. They will all take some serious fertility if you want multiple cuttings. | |
