I put curbstops in every week for my job, use the McDonald brass curb stop with full compression fitting (not the one where you tighten the nut then tighten a screw) make sure you have a stiff er insert. Don’t do what others suggested and get by. Trust me its not fun to re do it when it’s leaking the. Cry once bite the price tag and bury it then forget about it. Also when installing put a 2inch wide and 2inch thick and 4 inch brick underneath the curb stop. Extend the pole on top before you bring it in the hole.


I knew about curb stops quite some time ago.
Used some but then was also using some 200 psi rated poly which means you just can't use inserts and clamps.

Where are you getting the inserts from- - please?
