Well that sucks.
From what I know of the CAT 3208 was that they weren't really known for longevity... Seems they were designed as a throw away engine. It breaks? Toss it and slap in a new one.
My choice would be an IH 436 or 466, don't have to get crazy with the fuel screw either. The engine would probably long outlast the rest of the machine.
