NNW Nebraska | Didn't get it cut until today. Had a field of alfalfa that needed cut first.
was totally headed out, but no filling of seeds. no fuzzy stuff to plug radiators! was it cut to late?.
always plant turnips with it. this year planted turnips and radishes. Usually works good to excellent.
Another test,, most of field got disc. got rained out. weeds started coming so sprayed roundup on whole field.
part that was not disc, was slower to start. yield comparison yet to be determined, wasn't a difference noticeable swathing.
Appears that the turnips / radishes was mostly a bust on the disc ground. Fairly good stand in the roundup only ground. Will try to post pictures of what it does in a couple months.
