39.48, -82.98 | As the others have said, RTK is best. I have been using a Yuma 2 tablet PC, with SMS Mobile. I paid extra for the Yuma with 1- to 2-meter accuracy, (The standard Yuma is 2 to 4 meters.) This will get you in the area. A backhoe will find the tile in minutes. With RTK, you will find the tile on the first probe. With some trial and error -- and an assist from some AgTalkers -- I managed to export NMEA data from an Ag Leader 7500 (TerraStar-X correction) into the Yuma, and into SMS. I don't have a photo of the entire thing, but have put together something of a prototype survey rig. Using mostly spare parts, I don't have much more than $50 in it -- and most of that was for the small lithium-iron phosphate battery and charger. The photo below shows me revisiting flagged locations, previously recorded using WAAS (used as a background, to find the flags in the beans).
