#1- Really pretty easy machine to fly.
Do a few flights with it close in front of you. So you can see it easy. A little one like a Mavic Mini is hard to find if you lose site of it.

#2- As you get out further, remember a drone up high has a much better chance of getting a good signal from the controller.
If you get in trouble, left stick forward, Get the thing up into better signal country.

#3- If you think the thing if gone, don’t leave. It will probably will go into ‘Return to Home’ on it’s own.
Most of the time the return is within a few feet of take off point, but once in awhile not.
Also ‘Home’ may not be the actual take off point, but a point close where it figured out where it was

#4- Locate ‘Find My Drone’ in the App. If works and you just might need it.

#5- Fly high - Less things to run into.

#5.1- Anytime a drone gets in a fight with a tree = The tree wins!
