Frytown, Iowa | I have grown up with seedless watermelon all my life and love cut up/ cubed melon. Wife sent me to store to pick up a watermelon and I could have sworn it said seedless but I guess I was wrong. We cut up the melon and found it just a pain to eat so it sat in the fridge for a few days. Wife said either we eat the rest of it today or I throw it out and I said oh let’s try our best. She started cutting the slices super thin like half inch and leaving it on the rind and wow that’s the way to do it! Seeds can’t hide, few flicks and they are all out! Kids loved it, we loved it and now seed watermelon doesn’t seem like such a burden. I feel so dumb and yet... like a whole world has opened!
